Its not only there that they are being used.
We know they’ve also been tested by Thames Valley “police”…
And here’s a photo of Hampshire “police” using their new toy (which looks pretty stealth to me — don’t you agree?) to extort Motorists.

Saw the new ones in Cornwall just yesterday. Never seen an accident there, but there will be soon as everyone hits the brakes♂️. Nothing whatsoever to do with safety, just money grabbing, as are most speed cameras.
It is not speeding that causes accidents! It is inappropriate use of speed, There are areas of derestricted roads (60mph) going through villages where anything much over 20 is dangerous!
I disagree, you would go through a village at a sensible speed to ensure no animals or people get hurt not because some nefarious POLICY tells you to. What a surprise the police are wearing the wrong uniform it should be jet black with SS silver badges on the collar and lets not forget the jack boots this is the way they are acting is it any wonder to the police forces that they cannot will not be ever trusted by the populous and people are with drawing their support of them some people I have met say we should always help the police that’s until they knock on their door o how fast they change their minds, and we are told we are short of cash really well you just robed me this week along with the Government and every one else so they must be racking it in to mount these every were just another lie by the police to take are money from us like Mayor of London thieves and liars all of them.

Well said Richard, I agree completely, they are like nazi’s and not nice people at all, they only target the LEGAL motorists, in their own cars, when these low life scum bags steal people’s cars, drive like idiots, even ram police cars, they get a slap on the wrist, see it all the time on the police programs, they even slapped a guy with a £100 fine because his no. plate didn’t have a stupid little no on it, even though the plate was really completely legal regarding the spacing and digit sizes etc.
I use to live in California, where you are supposed to have front licence plates, but a lot of people with nice cars,( I had a 95 Camaro Z28 convertible, ) the plate just ruins the aesthetics of the car, anyway, when they actually can be bothered to do you for the offence, they hit you with a whopping $10 fix it ticket, lol and you get 3 months to show that you have put the plate on, and just pay your $10 !
The cops out there don’t harass motorists like they do here, and when they catch the real criminals, they punish them accordingly !
If & when anyone is pulled over my police you MUST ascertain with your MOBILE Camera ON, and ask “Are you acting under oath today” he/she has to answer your question. If constable he has sworn an oath to protect YOUR rights. If he/she says Police they they’re acting as commerce POLICY ENFORCERS & their job is to make you PAY. All these tricks they play can be used against them if you learn to understand what it is to be sovereign. put whatever name you want on these cameras, the motorist is purely a cash cow as always and the ( SS ) as i seen them described need their pension pot filled, and while im at it, WHY is it civil servants need only work xyz amount of years to recieve a pension, WHY does it not apply to everybody.

Knife crime at a record high level. House break -ins on the increase; and detection rates at an all time low. The police have all but deserted our streets.
I wonder how much that thing cost us? It looks as if it is designed to look over the horizon to me.
Maybe if there weren’t so many t0ssers on the roads thinking the law doesn’t apply to them, the police could indeed free up some resources to help in these other areas.

Time to grow up and understand that the police aren’t interested in freeing up ‘some resources to help in these other areas’. It’s all about grabbing as much cash as they can from the motorist. They are no longer interested in solving crime, just bowing and scraping to left wing minorities and painting their cars in the colours of the rainbow.

Whatever happened to the ‘good old days’ when coppers patrolled in cars and the more sensible and mature ones were able to dispense ‘words of advice’ along with dealing with – shock horror – bad driving! Nowadays ‘policing’ seems to be more and more about single issue enforcement, but only when there’s some bunce in it for the forces of law and order and preferably employing cheap civvies and not real coppers.
How true, just a money making scam. Police used to stop you if you were acting badly, nowadays it is the camera. If you had false plates or a stolen vehicle, you could carry on and eventually kill somebody, with little risk of being caught.
I thought speed camers needed to be “highly visable” ie painted yellow? if anyone is caught by the AI camera which is clearly not highly visable, yellow could this be a defence?
I’m glad I moved from Hampshire then. They’re not happy unless they are catching someone.
